Still Life

    Still Life has continuously been a subject for artists since the earliest days of art history down to our own time. While on the surface it can be merely a record of a particular group of objects, its deeper spiritual value is to penetrate the subject itself and reveal the nature of God working through it. By trying to see what is before us and remembering where all of this came from evokes gratitude and humility, and our lives become infinitely more rich. This series includes subjects directly from nature like fruits and flowers, domestic objects, workmen’s tools, and both rustic and finely crafted products like inlaid vases or decorated bowls.
